A few months before the end of the U6th (year 13) we had to fill in our applications for Universities.

Ever since I was a young child I wanted to become a medical doctor. I just had to apply and see what happens. My 6th form tutor did try to put me off (he knew how hard it would be to get in).

I applied to 5 medical schools. I got as many rejections.

I took my A Levels not knowing what I would do with them.
