I was born on the 2nd February 1962 in Pano Zodhia, a village in North West Cyprus, which is now just north of the “green line” in the occupied north of the island.

I don’t remember much of those first four years really…

This family picture was probably taken around1965, that’s me sitting on my dad’s lap. Standing from let to right, Elenitsa, Takis (Chris) and Mary. Sitting, left to right, Myroula, Dad and I, Mum with George on her lap and Roulla (Androula).

My dad died in December 2003 after an illness which confined him in bed for many months.

My brother Takis died suddenly and unexpectedly on the 18th February 2023. The cause of death was given as heart complications.

My eldest sister Mary died on the 15th February 2024, also with heart issues.
